The Stockholm Dynasty

Stockholm Dynasty was a collaboration project between Ensemble Nylandia (FI), Estonian Baroque Ensemble (EE), and Ensemble Hyperborea (NO) focusing on works from the Düben manuscript collection. Its program examined the musical exchange between the Stockholm court, the German States of Thuringia and Saxony, as well as the Parisian opera on the second half of the 17th century. I served as one of the project’s artistic directors. The project has featured at the BarokkiKuopio Festival (FI), the Ceciliana Early Music Festival (EE), Tromsö Internasjonale Kirkefestival (NO) and Trondenesdagene (NO).

The initiative was been generously supported by the Nordic Culture Fund, the Nordic Culture Point, the Norwegian Arts Council, Music Finland, The Finnish Music Foundation MES, the Norwegian Embassy in Finland, the Estonian Embassy in Norway, Eesti Kultuurkapital as well as the BarokkiKuopio Festival, and the Estonian Music Academy.
